The Spanish engineering company Intecsa-Inarsa has created a subsidiary based in Dallas (Texas), Intecsa-Inarsa USA, Inc. which will become the beginning of its expansion in the United States. The objective is to complement the biggest Spanish (and European) construction companies in the development of high quality projects from bidding to design and maintenance.
The decision is made due to the fact that Intecsa-Inarsa has developed half a dozen contracts in the U.S. market, mainly focused on the optimization of projects in the west coast, such as Los Angeles or Seattle, as well as Indiana and Virginia, in the central and eastern part of the country and always in the field of tunnels and bridges primarily in the bidding and temporary work stages with a significant role in the construction stage.
Furthermore, the engineering company is renewing its commitment to the United Stats’s market, encouraged by the Biden infrastructure bill, with a strategic plan that envisages making it its main market, with the projection of becoming 40% of its turnover.
To this end, Intecsa-Inarsa will provide construction companies with a "save money, finish on-time" philosophy, that is, greater efficiency and a high quality-price ratio. In addition, the engineering company has obtained the so-called Professional Engineer (PE), which allows it to sign projects, considerably lowering the fees for engineering services for clients.
In fact, Intecsa-Inarsa geographic expansion will target in the coming years the East Coast, the West Coast and looking at Texas closely, where it sees great opportunities for growth in rail and road transport, as well as in the center of the country, where it wants to bid for water contracts, considering the significant deficit of water infrastructure and quality standards far from countries such as Spain.
